Third cohort of First Class graduates to begin sponsored Masters

Nine First Class graduates in the class of 2019 are set to become the third cohort of students sponsored by KAFUCO to further their education at the Spring of Knowledge.. The University College has sponsored them for Masters degree in their various fields, signaling commitment to the initiative which encourages and rewards scholarly excellence. They will begin classes mid-February when ongoing intake of students comes to an end. Postgraduate classes begin with an induction seminar aimed at strengthening the quality of student output.  The Deputy Principal in charge of Academic and Student Affairs Dr Erick Okwako and the Director Graduate School Dr Benson Ojwang’ challenged the students to stick to standards and guidelines for postgraduate studies and complete the 2-year programmes in time. Sponsored students also benefit from paid internship placements at the University College.

KAFUCO currently offers these postgraduate programmes with ongoing intakes:

  • Master of Business Administration
  • Master of Arts in (Geography, Literature, Religion and Kiswahili)
  • Master of Education in (Education Psychology, MEd Education Language)
  • Master of Science in (Physics, Microbiology)
  • PhD Religion
  • PhD Literature
